Ground Screw Installer / Groundworker

Job Summary:
NMD Guildford, part of the Radix Group, are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our team to install ground screws for garden rooms, solar arrays and similar projects.
You will be responsible for site layout and assisting with site surveys and ground inspections as well as selecting the correct depth of screws to use to meet load points.
Full driving licence is essential, either with own van or able to drive larger company vehicles.
Ideally you will have experience as a groundworker or in a similar construction role, however we offer full training.
Proficiency with hand tools and small machinery used in groundworks laser levelling CAT scanners and load testing equipment.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and ground plans.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations e.g. around hidden ground utilities.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- CIS Registered / [CSCS/CPCS] card.
Typical hours: 8.30-4.30 with overtime available depending on project demands.
